In this document, “we” or “us” refers to The Courier Guy South Africa (Pty) Ltd. Our registered office is at 37 Malta Road, Cosmo Business Park, Malibongwe Drive, Kya Sands, South Africa.

Business & personal information
This includes identification and contact details (for example your name and contact details) and any information you provide while conducting business with us. We keep such information confidential and use it to:
- provide the services you request;
- verify your identity for security purposes;
- market our services and products (where you have opted in); and
- produce non-identifying aggregated information for analysis (eg. demographics or page usage).
We retain business records for a minimum of five years to support legal or tax obligations.

Your domain name & e‑mail address
We recognise your domain name and record the pages you visit. We will not disclose your email address to any person who is not an employee or contractor of ours and who does not need to know, except where required by law or under the terms below. This information is used to:
- correspond with you as you expect;
- produce aggregated data to improve site quality;
- send news about services you have signed up for; and
- inform you about related services or sister sites (where you have opted in).

Information you post on our website
Content you post to forums, blogs or advertisements is stored on our servers. We generally use this only to present it on the site, but our terms and conditions reserve a right to use it in other ways.

We collect analytics-style information (pages viewed, how you reach pages, time spent) to understand and improve our site. Where possible this information is anonymised and not associated with an identifiable person.

We do not collect or store your credit card information. Payments are processed by PayFast on their secure pages; our staff do not have access to your card details.

Padlock symbols & trust marks
We do not subscribe to third-party trust-mark services for card processing because we do not handle card data directly.

Credit reference
To combat fraud we may share information with credit reference agencies where a client cancels payment without acceptable reason and without first allowing us an opportunity to refund.

Information from third parties
We may receive aggregated or indirect information from third-party services (for example Google Analytics). Such data is not personally identifiable to you.

Content you provide for third-party use
If you provide materials intended to be viewed or used by third parties, we accept no responsibility for what those third parties may do with it. You are responsible for checking the privacy practices of any third party that may access the content.

Sending messages to support
When you send a message to our support system we record the information contained in the message and our reply to help us provide better service. We do not retain personally identifiable information associated with the message unless you include it in the message itself.

When handling a complaint we record the details you provide and use them to resolve the matter. We may need to disclose some of the information to third parties if it is necessary to investigate or resolve the complaint; we do this as infrequently as possible.

We do not market to children. If you are under 18 you may use the site only with consent from a parent or guardian.

Our website is hosted in South Africa, but we may use outsourced services in other countries. Accordingly, data obtained in South Africa may be processed outside South Africa and vice versa.

We may use embedded software (for example JavaScript) to collect information about pages you view, how you reached them, what you do there, and how long you remain. We do not presently associate such information with an identifiable person.
